Take 288 South towards Lake Jackson/Freeport. Drive approximately 40 miles and exit before Angleton on FM 523 which will bypass Angleton. (There is a large Nissan / Toyota / Ford Dealership on left of 288 which is also marked by a large U.S. Flag) Exit on 523 to the right. Then go left over the freeway (288) to Hwy 35 (approximately 3.5 miles thru several traffic lights). Then turn left on 35. Once on 35, go North towards Alvin , for approximately 3 miles and turn right on Spur 28 at the second blinking light which leads you to the community of Danbury .
Go approximately 1 mile into town. Go over railroad track, stop at stop light, and continue through town until the road T’s. Turn left and go to next stop sign. Turn right at Leo’s Grocery. At the end of Filipps’s Cafe parkinglot, turn left on CR 602 (aka – E.J. Filipp’s Rd). Go about ¾ mile through a piped fenced entry gate to a large lake.
